The South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine will provide a unique niche in the publication market within South Georgia. The editorial mission of the South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine is to inform readers and create a synergy surrounding South Georgia’s business climate, economic growth, and cultural visibility. The South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine will also create a forum to facilitate discussion among business leaders and influencers on issues facing the region and state while spotlighting success stories of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Each issue of the South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine will showcase the region’s economic vibrancy and cultural prominence. Features each issue will include: 

Insights: Regionally-focused articles that inform, entertain and enlighten the reader’s view of South Georgia. Articles will showcase businesses and industries that are demonstrating innovative solutions and growth. The scope of editorial content will include business and industry, agriculture, healthcare, government, education, and tourism. 

Trends: Articles that provide an in-depth look at trends that are shaping the South Georgia region and impacting the business climate and overall quality of life. Articles will identify key business growth indicators and how the region is responding. 

Discovery: Profiles on rising entrepreneurs, young business leaders, and senior executives within the region. Articles will also focus on research, new industries and businesses in South Georgia, and growth of existing industry clusters.

Culture: One of the greatest strengths of any community is the broad-based efforts of its citizens to collaborate and become engaged in creating a better quality of life and promoting economic prosperity. Articles will tell the story of people, programs, and events that enrich the region through all genres of artistic expression including culinary, literature, media, performing, and the visual arts.


South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine editorial coverage is primarily focused on activities primarily within the following counties: Atkinson, Bacon, Baker, Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Clinch, Coffee, Colquitt, Cook, Decatur, Early, Echols, Grady, Irwin, Jeff Davis, Lanier, Lowndes, Miller, Mitchell, Pierce, Seminole, Thomas, Tift, Turner, Ware, and Worth. As the South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine readership expands, editorial content will be incorporated to include bordering counties.   

South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine editorial content focuses on South Georgia; however, the readership represents statewide leaders and key influencers. Complimentary copies of each issue will be mailed to a pre-populated list of recipients including:

Copies of South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine will also be available for reading in the offices of doctors and lawyers and other professional establishments throughout South Georgia.

The South Georgia Business + Culture Magazine launched October 2016. In 2017, three magazines will be distributed: Spring, Fall, and Winter. 

Advertising Rates (Inaugural Issue) 

Mechanical/Electronic Requirements: All color ads submitted must be 4-color process. Ads that bleed may bleed off of 8 3/8” x 10 7/8” with 1/8” bleed. Ad submissions are accepted in PDF, EPS, TIF or JPG file formats. Files must be supplied with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi. All color images must be CMYK format. Ads must be actual size.
